Gloria Parkinson

President and founder of The Parkinson Group, Gloria has more than 25 years' experience as a writer, editor, and manager of projectsr for print, video, audio, television, and stage. She has scripted corporate multimedia learning programs, researched and written training and reference manuals, and assembled teams that have produced award-winning creative projects--from monthly consumer publications to cultural events. Before moving to the United States from her native England in 1980, Gloria was a producer and director in professional theater. She has served as an advisor to the Arts Council of Great Britain and a trustee of the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama (London).

Gloria holds an M.A. in writing from Brown University, an A.B. in English from Harvard University, and a Teaching Diploma from the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama (London). She has been a fellow of the Bunting Institute at Radcliffe College; a recipient of fellowships from the Arts Council of Great Britain; a visiting artist at Radcliffe; and a lecturer at Wellesley College. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the National Association of Science Writers, and the American Medical Writers Association.
