Jim Webster

Jim has written, edited, and managed various Parkinson Group projects since 1993. He has edited hundreds of medical papers for submission to medical journals, and has written many business proposals, reports, and presentations that bridge the chasm between the language of science and technology and the language of non-specialists. Jim is an experienced user of computer layout and presentation tools including QuarkXpress, PhotoShop, and other writing and graphic editing programs.

Jim is also a player and builder of stringed instruments and a student of the bottomless well of folk, blues, traditional, and popular music ranging from field hollers to rock and roll.

Jim holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, a Certificate in Training and Development from Boston University (for instructional design); and a Certificate in Web-Site Production and Management from Emerson College. He is a member of the the American Medical Writers Association.
